Day 01: Sunday, December 13 Arrival in Cairo
Arrival at Cairo International Airport where we will have a representative inside the airport to greet you and assist you with obtaining your entry visa ($30.00 USD – please bring exact change), help you through customs, then transfer you to the fabulous 5-star Crowne Plaza Hotel located within an upscale outdoor mall that is home to boutique coffee and pastry shops, restaurants,upscale shops, a food market and pharmacy, in Giza.
We will have a representative inside the hotel to assist you with the check-in process.
We’ll meet in the lobby at 5 PM to be guided to our conference room for an introductory meeting. Afterwards we’ll enjoy our Welcome Dinner at the hotel.

Day 02: Monday, December 14 Giza Plateau, Private Visit Between the Paws of the Sphinx and Presentation by Patricia
After an early breakfast, we’ll visit the Giza Plateau and explore the area around the Khafre Pyramid. We’ll discuss how this site was chosen to harness the powerful forces of nature embodied by the land here and why this area was once called “Rostau” or Gate of Fire – a secret path connecting the realms of spirit and matter.
Afterwards we’ll enjoy a Private visit Between the Paws of the Sphinx, whom Hakim called Tefnut or the Spit of Nut (the sky) and others refer to as Mehit. Both embody aspects of similar principles. We will discuss this and more – and enjoy powerful moments of silence and connection at this very ancient portal between the worlds. This is a place of sacred healing that can be generated, absorbed and transmitted.
Next we’ll have lunch at the 9 Pyramids Lounge located on the Giza Plateau. We’ll have time here for taking pictures of the beautiful panoramic views from here before returning to our hotel. Day 03: Tuesday, December 15 Unas Pyramid entry and the Sound Healing Hospital (the Heb Sed Court) at Saqqara
We’ll leave at 9 AM for our visit to Saqqara. First we will enter the Unas Pyramid which is home to the oldest discovered “Pyramid Texts” offering more than 700 spells or “utterances” said to be magical formulas for how to achieve divinity.
There is a much greater depth of wisdom embodied by these writings that include the infamous “Cannibal Hymn “which portrays the deceased king consuming the Neteru to inherit their power. We need to understand how the ancients perceived reality to truly fathom what is being described here and how it relates to us on our own path to empowerment.
Next we’ll move through the entrance to the complex that reflects powerful moments of reunion and transformation experienced to achieve balance and harmony before we enter the Heb Sed Court that Hakim called the “Sound Healing Hospital”.
Here you will learn and experience how the ancients were able to affect healing and aftercare.
How did different aspects of the site itself contribute to their interactive process? They knew that healing of the physical body is only one stage in any method for achieving sustainable results.
We’ll be able to experience features of this powerful dynamic at the site before we leave to enjoy a local “farm to table” home-cooked lunch at the Blue Lotus Inn. Day 04: Wednesday, December 16 Afternoon flight to Luxor and & Lecture by Patricia
We‘ll check out of our hotel and have lunch before departing for our afternoon flight to Luxor. Once in Luxor we’ll check into our rooms at the fabulous Steigenberger Nile Palace Hotel situated on the east bank of the Nile River.
We’ll enjoy a relaxing supper together at the hotel.
Afterwards, Patricia will lecture on “Mysteries of the Universe encoded in the Symbolism, Mythology and Structure of the temple of Hathor at Dendera”.
She will speak to how the architecture and “temple wisdom” are portals to awaken us to our latent potentials and a forgotten understanding of our power.
The rest of your evening will be free to enjoy the hotel amenities. Breakfast & Dinner included Overnight at Steigenberger Nile Palace, Luxor
Day 05: Thursday, December 17 Temple of Hathor at Dendera and late lunch at Marsum
After an early breakfast, we’ll drive to Dendera to visit the incredible temple that was dedicated the Hathor, one the most significant sites of ancient Egypt and most elaborately decorated temple of its time.
Please bring your favorite snacks as we will be spending a great deal of time at this -and most of the scheduled sites on this adventure.
Hakim told us that when we walk through the entrance gate of the site, which is the only place in Egypt where you will see the underbelly of the winged Kheper Beetle, it means that we are entering a place that holds all the answers to the Secrets and Mysteries of the Universe! It is why I at great deal of time throughout my 17+ years in Egypt –researching and studying all aspects of it. He was not wrong.
Although it’s been labeled as Ptolemaic temple, early texts refer to a temple at Dendera which was rebuilt during the Old Kingdom and the massive foundations contain many blocks from a much earlier structure. Fragments from earlier periods have been found on the site including one that references the Sixth Dynasty Pharoah, Pepi I. We know that Hathor was celebrated from pre-dynastic times through to the Roman period.
She tells us that she is the Alpha and Omega, all that is, all that was, and all that ever shall be.
We will be led on a journey of discovery within the Temple of Hathor that can change the way you perceive reality itself. Star maps depicted on the ceilings inside the first Hypostyle Hall, and the replica of famous Dendera Zodiac (the original is displayed at the Louvre in Paris) point to the ancient origins of astrology and superior knowledge of the universe and it cycles-and cycles within cycles.
John Anthony West once called this temple “the Womb of Time”. Hathor who personified motherhood, beauty, sexuality, love, joy, harmony, dance and music, was known as the Lady of the Stars who symbolizes the womb and portal between heaven and earth that gives birth to our perception of time and space.
As the ‘Eye of Ra’ she represents the nurturing rays of the Sun required for birth, growth and renewal as well as the fierce rays of the sun that destroy in order to provide a space for new beginnings. The most distinctive parts of the temple are the fourteen crypts, of which eleven were decorated.
These areas were devoted to Lunar aspects of nature and the symbolism within contain many keys to understanding the ancient mysteries of Egypt. Many of these formerly closed crypts were recently opened to the public and you will have the option to explore some of them.
The most famous crypt holds the infamous ‘lightbulb’ imagery that speaks to the birth of the cosmos. These crypts were also used to store cult equipment, archives and magical devices for the temple’s protection, however the most important object kept within them was a mysterious statue of the Ba of Hathor. This hidden and most sacred icon was only brought out to receive the first rays of the Sun to celebrate the activation of the ‘rebirth’ of her son, or Sun as a new cycle of potentiality.
There is so much to experience within and around this magnificent temple that we dedicate an entire morning and afternoon at the site. We’ll have time to meditate inside the Isis temple before we leave. Afterwards, we’ll have a very late lunch at Marsum, an “Oasis” on the West Bank of Luxor that serves the most delicious homemade healthy food.

Day 06: Friday, December 18 Mut Precinct, Luxor temple and evening Lecture with Patricia
You will have the opportunity to enjoy an optional early morning Hot Air Balloon ride over the West Bank.
Enjoy the surreal experience of floating over the valleys, temples and lush fields on the West Bank of Luxor on a sunrise Hot Air Balloon rise.
Catch the rays of the early morning sun as it illuminates your bird’s eye view of the Nile and surrounding area.
Afterwards you’ll return and have breakfast before as all leave for our visit to the enigmatic Precinct of Mut dedicated to whom Hakim called “the Sitting Sekhmet”.
Mut is the silent, passive, yet most powerful force of nature as the divine feminine in its most pure and primordial state. She sits in her power while embodying all aspects of the sacred mother. We’ll bask in the warmth and sacred energy of this divine space – and enjoy moments for mediation and conversation.
The Precinct of Mut was home to a beautiful crescent moon-shaped sacred lake as well as what some say was as many as 720 statues of Mut/Sekhmet. You will have time to wander and connect with this gentle area, lake and the many faces of Mut decorating several surviving statues.
Next, we’ll visit the temple of Luxor where divinity of kings was celebrated. We will experience the powerful transformational energy of an active portal—and learn how the symbolism displayed is speaking to humanity’s birth into our perception of form as a fall from the divine—as well as our journey back to divinity.
Afterwards we’ll have a buffet lunch at the Hotel, followed by a late afternoon Lecture on the “Resurrection and Renewal Symbolism within the Seti I temple and embodied within the Structure and Site Signature of the Osirion at Abydos” with Patricia. Day 07: Saturday, December 19 Private visit inside the Osirion and Temple of Seti I at Abydos
We will leave at 7 AM sharp to drive to Abydos, known by the ancients as a place for Pilgrimage and reverence for the ancestors who they believed were closer to the divine, developed language and built the megalithic structures as Halls of Records for those who came after them.
We’ll begin with a Private Visit inside the very ancient Osirian, a submerged, subterranean megalithic structure connected to a pressurized, deep-seated aquifer of fossil water (dating roughly 5,000–10,000 years old) within the Qena Sand– rather than direct Nile seepage.
Studies suggest this groundwater flows up through sand beneath the structure’s 15-meter-deep foundations, which are not set on bedrock. This symbolically points to the concept of the divine and sacred purity of Primordial Waters.
The design of the structure reflects symbolism that speaks to resurrection from the darkness of an earthly existence within “dark caverns of perception” and emergence or rebirth into new levels of conscious awareness.
During early dynastic times the site was used for ritual precessions –possibly both to and from the Osirion with the 2nd Dynasty tomb of Djet to symbolically celebrate the resurrection and renewal of Osiris. Was this an ancient portal for experiencing transformation? We will have 2 hours of private time to explore these ideas and experience the powerful energetic footprint here.
Afterwards we’ll visit the Seti I Temple dedicated to Osiris, where we’ll experience the masterful craftsmanship of the beautiful depictions as well as the mysteries and implications of the Osiris ‘resurrection’ rituals that are illustrated throughout the temple.
This temple offers seven powerful chambers, or Holy of Holies dedicated to six Neteru and the 19th Dynasty King, Seti I. We see images of Seti I celebrating his Heb Sed Rituals or Jubilee–which mirrored the resurrection myth of Osiris.
We’ll discuss how this relates to mankind—at this powerful moment in time. We’ll spend time in the Portal chamber that was held sacred to Om Seti and I’ll speak of her story and how she came to Abydos.
She worked for the Ministry and from her memories of a past life here, was able to show archeologists where to find significant areas at and around the temple. Her story is incredible.

Day 08 – Sunday, December 20 – Sunrise visit (and Solar Alignment) at Hatshepsut’s Temple, Lunch at Marsum and late afternoon Workshop with Patricia
After an early predawn breakfast, we’ll leave for our sunrise visit to Hatshepsut’s temple to experience the stunning solar alignment. At sunrise, the first rays of the sun at dawn directly penetrate the temple’s central axis, shining into the inner sanctuary to illuminate the shrine of Amun-Ra.
This precision, often visible for a few days before and after the Winter Solstice, marks the sun’s rebirth and beginning of a cycle of renewal.
Afterwards we’ll enjoy lunch at Marsum. We’ll have time to shop at a local “alabaster factory” to see how they make the exquisite bowls and dishes and shop for them, statues of the Neteru and more. Next, we’ll return to our hotel and Patricia will speak late this afternoon about our upcoming “Winter Solstice Sunrise at Karnak and the profound significance of Sekhmet for us Now!” Breakfast & Lunch included. Day 09: Monday, December 21 Winter Solstice Sunrise at Karnak Temple – featuring a Private Visit with Sekhmet
After enjoying a very early predawn breakfast, we’ll leave for our visit to Karnak. We’ll find the perfect place to experience the majestic Solstice Sunrise.
There is an ethereal feeling of being present in very ancient times when people worldwide gathered to experience the profound significance of the Winter Solstice Sunrise.
Peace on Earth!
It marks a pause in all cycles when we enjoy the powerful and peaceful moments and be mindful of the infinite potentials that each new cycles offers us.
The Sun rises to ignite and activate the forces of Nature, the Neteru, after a long night’s “sleep”.
Let Heaven and Nature Sing!
After a visit to the Holy of Holies and Sacred Lake, we’ll visit the Temple of Osiris Hek-Djet that features Seven carved, symbolic “false doors” or Gates, representing the Seven Gates of the underworld (Duat) that are ne oeded be traversed in order to reach the Field of Reeds and eternal life.
We’ll discuss the 7 Keys illustrated in an adjoining chamber and the secrets they represent for unlocking these Gates within.
Next we’ll enjoy a powerful Private time with Sekhmet.
Sekhmet represents a turning point on our journey, a pause for a moment of silence and connection when we can end the patterns that no longer serve us in order to open a space for healing. She only asks that we tear open our chests and proudly display our hearts. She lets us know that the only way forward is through the wisdom from within, the intelligence of the heart.
Hakim told us that she was probably the oldest statue on Earth that was still standing in the same place. Made from black granite, the statue was created with incredible precision and superior craftsmanship.
She was crafted by the ancients with a right-brain focused perception of reality that enabled them to create in perfect symmetry fashioning her to embody the archetypical imprint of the powerful protective, healing, and unconditional love of the Sacred Mother. She appears to be alive and may have a message for you.
After a visit to the Holy of Holies and Sacred Lake we’ll enjoy a Farewell Lunch at the Hotel together. Afterwards we’ll enjoy a Sunset Felucca (sailboat) ride on the Nile.

If you’re not traveling with anyone you know, we would be happy to assist pairing you with a fellow traveler.
Per our Terms and Conditions, we will hold the registration open until 30 days before the tour begins (or later if possible) to try to match you with someone. If by that date we have not been able to do so, you will be responsible for paying for the single supplement. Please try to register early if you would like to be matched with a roommate.
Hotel Accommodations:
All rooms are standard twin-bedded rooms with private facilities, unless you have specifically requested and paid for an upgraded room category. Special requests such as bed types, smoking preference and connecting rooms are subject to availability. Room selection in all cases unless otherwise reserved is strictly at the discretion of the hotel’s management on a run-of-house basis.
Triple rooms consist of standard twin beds plus a roll out bed or cot for third person. The number of persons accommodated does not dictate the room size.
We highly recommend that Travel Insurance is acquired after registering for the Tour.

- Role of Horus Rising
Horus Rising LLC acts as the organizer and curator of its tours. Most travel services—including accommodation, transportation, guides, and local logistics—are provided by independent third-party suppliers. Horus Rising is not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, or performance of these suppliers.
- Reservations and Payments
A deposit of $1,200 USD per person is required to confirm your reservation. Final payment is due by the specified deadline. Deposits are nonrefundable from 60 days before the tour. Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking. Payments may be made to Horus Rising or directly to designated suppliers, and all bank or credit card fees are the responsibility of the traveler.
- Pricing
Tour prices are based on current costs and exchange rates. Horus Rising reserves the right to adjust pricing prior to final payment due to currency fluctuations or supplier cost increases.
- Client Cancellations
Once a partial or full payment has been made cancellations will only be accepted in writing. Cancellation terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation is received. All cancellations must be received prior to the tour departure date.
Due to non-recoverable supplier commitments, the following penalties apply:
60 – 29 days before arrival date: $1,200.00 USD
30 – 19 days before arrival date: 50% cancellation fee
20 – 8 days before arrival date: 75% cancellation fee
7 days before arrival date 100%: cancellation fee*
No refunds are provided for unused services.
- Organizer Cancellation or Modification
Horus Rising reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify any tour due to safety concerns, government advisories, operational issues, or other events beyond its control.
Refunds due to cancellation of the tour will be limited to recoverable amounts from suppliers, less any non-refundable costs.
No additional compensation or reimbursement of external expenses will be provided.
- Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is Highly Recommended for all participants and should include coverage for trip cancellation and interruption, medical emergencies and evacuation, repatriation, travel delays, and loss of personal belongings. Horus Rising is not responsible for losses that could be covered by insurance.
- Flights and Travel Arrangements
Travelers are responsible for arranging their own international flights and related travel. Horus Rising is not liable for airline schedule changes, delays, cancellations, missed connections, or associated costs. Flexible or refundable airfare is strongly recommended.
- Documentation and Entry Requirements
Travelers are responsible for ensuring they meet all passport, visa, vaccination, and entry requirements. Horus Rising is not liable for denial of entry or related losses.
- Medical Fitness and Assumption of Risk
By booking, travelers confirm that they voluntarily assume all inherent risks associated with international travel, including illness, injury, political instability, transportation disruptions, and environmental conditions.
- Behavior and Right to Remove Participants
Horus Rising reserves the right to remove any participant from a tour without refund if their behavior endangers others, disrupts the group, violates local laws, or interferes with tour operations. Any resulting costs are the traveler’s responsibility.
- Itinerary Changes
Itineraries may be modified due to operational needs or unforeseen circumstances. Specific accommodation, guides, or services are not guaranteed, though reasonable efforts will be made to maintain the overall experience.
- Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Horus Rising’s liability is limited to the total amount paid for the tour. Horus Rising is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including airfare losses, additional travel expenses, or loss of enjoyment.
- Indemnification
Travelers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Horus Rising LLC, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims or expenses arising from their participation in the tour or their actions.
- Force Majeure
Horus Rising is not liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond its control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, government actions, epidemics, or transportation disruptions. Refunds in such cases are limited to recoverable amounts from suppliers.
- Independent Activities
Horus Rising is not responsible for any services or activities arranged independently by travelers that are not part of the official itinerary.
- Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
Travelers agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes without first providing written notice and allowing Horus Rising at least 30 days to resolve the matter. Horus Rising reserves the right to recover any associated costs, including legal fees.
- Use of Likeness
Participants grant Horus Rising permission to use photographs or videos taken during the tour for promotional purposes unless written notice opting out is provided prior to departure.
- Refund Method
Any refunds will be processed using the original form of payment within a 60-day time frame whenever possible.. Horus Rising is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect information received by the client or issues with financial institutions.
- Time Limit for Claims
Any claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the tour’s conclusion, after which they are deemed waived.
- Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in its courts.
- Acceptance of Terms
By booking, the traveler acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
