The Midnight Sun as our spiritual sun has been described as:

In the 38th Episode in our Metaphysical Egypt series, Allan and I discuss the possibility that Solar cycles and events can initiate changes to our conscious awareness. Are we currently beginning to shed our physical ‘skins’ in order to undergo an awakening and resurrection of humanity? The Moon is the reflected light of the Sun. Osiris on one level was the man in the moon. We are living in a night cycle of conscious awareness. The ancients believed that the moon’s waxing and waning cycles metaphorically reflected the evolution and devolution of our conscious awareness—and that the Full Moon, the Midnight Sun, represented our moment of full conscious expression in the much greater cycle of the precession of Equinoxes.
Manley P Hall cites the Platonist philosopher, Apoleius when describing his initiation:
“At midnight I saw the sun shining with a splendid light.The midnight sun was also part of the mystery of alchemy. It symbolizes the spirit of man shining through the darkness of his human organisms. It also referred to the spiritual sun of the solar system, which the mystic could see as well at midnight as at high noon, the material earth being powerless to obstruct the rays of the Divine orb. The mysterious lights which illuminated the temples of the Egyptian Mysteries during the nocturnal hours were said by some to be reflections of the spiritual sun gathered by the magical powers of the priests.”
This knowledge is an offering of hope to us, even now as we are met with our current daily challenges. The chaos will end, and we will emerge from the physical confines of our three-dimensional perception of reality which has always been an illusion of our minds. It reminds us to open our hearts to feel the truth of our ever bright and constant light shining within. The ancients believed it will emerge again, for those who are worthy, as the Akh, our light body that has an opportunity to become a never-setting star.
